EMCC Consultancy was founded by Belgian national, Jeroen Van Keer, who has a master in International Politics. His services are based on nearly two decades of working in various positions in the field of emergency management and humanitarian aid. He held both managerial as well as operational positions during multiple complex crisis situations. He started his career in Belgium but since then, worked in various regions and countries with extensive experience in Africa. Jeroen worked and lived in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean which gave him a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities which communities are facing worldwide.

 

He is an experienced crisis manager with a demonstrated history of working in both the humanitarian sector and government. Skilled in disaster management, strategic policy making, team management and training. Comfortable in both expert advisory positions and senior managerial positions. He is an international with a good knowledge of English, French and Dutch.

His experience in crisis coordination brought along new opportunities focussing more on organisational change processes and partnership management. In recent years, Jeroen supported several organisations, departments and units in achieving a more effective operational and managerial setup. His skills in partnership management, led him to conduct multiple partnership evaluations and contract negotiations in countries such as Mali, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Comores, etc.
